Many people have expressed their sorrow over the sudden passing of music legend Microwave Dave (Dave Gallaher). Dave was generous to others, playing for benefits, playing for people who were seriously ill/dying, giving money to people who were experiencing financial hardships, giving to his church and local non-profit groups, and feeding feral cats in his neighborhood. He talked to people who reached out to him with their sorrows, fears, and joys. He prayed daily for those in need.

I'm Rick Godfrey, the bassist in Microwave Dave and the Nukes. Dave was like a brother to me, and I promised him that I would take care of things after he "graduated." He lived simply; his music earnings met his basic needs. Dave did not leave money for end-of-life expenses. I hope you will donate to the Microwave Dave End-of-Life Expenses account. Any funds left after expenses are paid will be donated to the Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation.
