Hi, my name is Tramy, I know I’m biased but I have the best dog in the world, her name is Mickye. This goofy ass dog is a supposedly husky mix German Shepherd. It’s unknown since I rescued her.

Mickye was brought in the ER yesterday ( August 22) since she threw up 5 times in the span of 45 minutes. Her diagnosis : her liver mass grew exponentially and is bleeding in her stomach. Her blood cells is incredibly low, 25%. Choices : do the surgery (10 000$ estimate) to remove the mass and stop the bleeding or euthanize her. It could be hours, or days, before it becomes too late.

Despite all of this, Mickye is still her goofy self, has energy, still adores being at the vet. And she’s still going to beg for food or come around at the instant sound of a wrapper opening. She’s still doing her « tippy tappy toes » while we’re preparing her food.

Unfortunately, I had to stop work around 4 months following an ER trip myself. I was admitted due to a high blood pressure, weakness and numbness on my entire side from head to toe. I am still being currently followed by 2 specialists at the hospital almost weekly for this. I don’t have an income nor government aid so I’ve been already financially tight.

We’ve already spend thousands at her vets appointment to do all the previous exams, but now we’ve exhausted all of our resources. It is why I’m having to unfortunately resort to this instead. I appreciate the time you’ve took to read on this so far & I hope we get to save Mickye altogether.
