Micky O giving back

Hi, my name is Amanda and my husband Michael has worked for the same Traffic company for 14 years... he hurt his back in 2018 and kept working.... because that is what you do for your family.... He is now at the point (after 12 months of crawling like a 90 year old man) that he us having major surgery and we have had to beg, borrow and steal, to the pay over $7000 for a neurosurgeon to operate on the protruding disc compressing his spinal nerve (not including missed wages for 5-6 weeks he will have to be off work as a casual worker). My husband has supported and advocated for many traffic controllers in Melbourne over the years, and is often the one raising money for other workers for this type of thing, and we would really appreciate it If he could get any assistance during this time. He is a stubborn man that did not want to go the workcover route, but has now done that, and it seems that workcover may not be an option for now. If you could spare even a couple of dollars so he does not rush back to work it would be greatly appreciated.
