It’s a year since Olive was diagnosed with Sepsis so thought it’s about time we raised some more money for one of the amazing organisations that helped save her.

This time I will be cycling approximately 83 miles from Wakefield to Scarborough beach in just a few weeks with hardly any training or bike riding for many years for the amazing Paediatric ICU at the LGI.

This amazing ward provides one to one care to the most unwell children and do it with so much care and compassion to not only the patient but the family too. I’m hoping the money raised will be able to provide any equipment or little extras that they or the children they care for may need.

Olive spent a period of time here when she was critically unwell, the amazing team nursed her back to the amazing, strong little girl she is today, who because of them is still with us today and is thriving despite the live changing impact Sepsis has had one her.
