on the 17th July Mickey turned one then was hit by a car on his birthday — a day that should’ve been filled with love, treats, and cuddles. Instead, tragedy struck, and our sweet boy was left fighting for his life.

Mickey, our playful, gentle, beautiful cat, was hit by a car. He’s suffered serious injuries to his back leg and hip and now faces a long road to recovery. The vets believe with urgent treatment and surgery, Mickey has a real chance — but the cost is overwhelming. A heartbreaking £8,000. His insurance will only cover £3,000, leaving us facing an impossible shortfall.

Mickey is more than just a cat — he’s a part of our family, and we can’t imagine life without him. His brother Axl adores him, and has been searching for him at home; not understanding where his buddy has gone.
