Mick Junior

Donation protected
Our fantastic Mike Junior, friend, uncle, cousin and brother passed away on Easter Sunday.

As you know he never had alot. He never asked for much during life, he was always giving to everyone and unfortunately it's left us without much to be able to plan a funeral.

We don't expect much but if anyone can contribute to giving him the best send off possible, we will be eternally greatful for any and all donations.

Jay, Danny and family x

Hello, my name is Jay. I am Michael Junior's niece. My mum was Mike's sister, she passed in 2010. I've realised that I may not have explained myself properly when posting the gofundme and would like to give abit more background.
Myself, Danny and Josie are all the family Mick had who are able to help towards organising. We will do anything in our power to ensure we do the best by him. I did not want to have to ask for help in the form of a gofundme, I am sure my uncle would have hated it, but unfortunately I have no choice.

The reason we have started this gofundme is that we have been quoted £3,877 for a basic funeral. The cheapest I could find.
What that doesn't include is transport, order of service, flowers, collection & care fees, visitation, barers or wake fees.

Danny and I are doing the majority of organising and with Josies help we are raising as much money behind the scenes as possible. That includes charities and government help as well as selling belongings and applying for loans.

I placed the goal at £4000 as all the money raised by us will be going towards it too.

As you are aware, Michael did not have alot in terms of wealth, he took joy in the simple things in life and loved to give to others even when it left himself short.
My thought process was that if the people that loved and cared for Mick were able to spare the price of a drink, then with the majority of the fees raised by us, we may actually be able to give him the send off he deserves.

The plan is to keep everyone who would like to pay their respects updated on funeral dates and the hope is that we are able to organise a wake in a place that he loved where those who are unable to attend the funeral will be able to come to easily (such as soho)

Thankyou for reading this post. If anyone is able to contribute even just the price of a drink, we as his family would be eternally grateful and hopefully wherever we all end up, Michael can see how loved he is by us all ❤️
