Mick Attard still in hospital & needs help…

Hi again all,

I’ve started a new fund raiser for Mick & his family, Mick is still in hospital since his accident last AUGUST and is facing another fight for his life. Mick was due to have the long awaited surgery this coming Monday but has picked up an infection that is in his blood & making him very unwell. The surgery has to be postponed until the infection is cleared up. Mick has had an open hole in his abdomen the size of a small football since last year with part of his gut remaining on the outside of his body, he has not been able to consume food or drink by mouth for long periods of time being reliant on the TPN drip to feed him. Sadly the infection found its way in via the PIC line to which the TPN line was attached, the infection is feeding off the TPN within Micks blood. Throughout all of this awful ordeal Micks family had to move from their rental house and to add insult to injury (literally!) the new rental house suffered minor flooding in the recent weather events. Not one to ask for help, Mick yesterday eluded to me that they are nearly out of money & he didn’t know what to do. We are so grateful to everyone that donated previously and understand that many people may not be able to again, however, I felt that I had to try to help Mick again and have this set up this new fund raiser. If you can no matter how much, a donation will help these guys so much, as will keeping Mick in your thoughts and prayers for yet another fight for his life
