I'm a Bernie Sanders delegate, the #1 ranked female in my District 27 (Judy Chu's area), (verify my status ) and I'm going to Philadelphia as an elected delegate. Like most of us, I have to fundraise to pay my way to go to the DNC convention on July 23.
100% of the proceeds raised will go toward my trip to Philadelphia. I need to raise funds by mid-July so that I can pay off my credit card and not incur fees.
$500 - round trip ticket
$2617 for 4 night stay *- DNC mandated hotel
$200 - delegate materials and registration
$200 - incidentals, food, transporation, etc.
$278- GoFundMe fees (7.9%)
TOTAL: $3795 minimum
(My goal is an even $4000, and whatever I raise in excess, I will give to other Bernie Sanders delegates that need financial assistance to attend.)
