Michelle’s Wedding & Moving Amidst CancerCare Fund

Many of you know Michelle & Travis and are aware that Michelle has been grappling with cancer over the past three years.

Michelle’s cancer became terminal some time ago and she is receiving a combination of maintenance and palliative care.

 

She will be flying home to BC on Nov 8th to be closer to family; Travis following along in a moving van shortly thereafter.

 

Michelle & Travis are beloved by many and have contributed much to the independent music community here in a Toronto.

As such, there has been much  deeply appreciated support and fundraising over the past three years in Michelle’s honour.

There truly are no words fit to express how meaningful and crucial that help has proven for Michelle, Travis, and Family.

 

We’re reaching out today with a special request.

 

MICHELLE & TRAVIS ARE ENGAGED AND HOPE TO MARRY SOON!

 

This is obviously a complex endeavour, given Michelle’s delicate health and the myriad stressors and expenses associated with treatment and relocating across country.

I know many would love to lend a hand in any way possible, given how important this is to the couple. It has been said that supportive community strengthens matrimony, so wouldn’t it be great to help facilitate the realisation of this dream for our friends?

This fund will help out with the cost of Michelle’s wedding  dress and flower arrangements, as well as catering and the like. The ceremony will likely be a small affair in Kelowna.
