Michelle's Stay Strong Recovery Fund

I'm fundraising for my dear friend Michelle. Let’s support our friend Michelle Haynes with love & resources as she works on a long road to recovery. Michelle is one of the sweetest souls, who would take her shirt off her back for anyone. She is also a cancer survivor, who has also been nothing short of an exemplary employee. Since the removal of her cancer she’s had a lot of ups and downs on the road to recovery. She is seeking support financially to pay bills such as mortgage and utilities and groceries. Unfortunately, after the last trip to the hospital, she may not ever be able to work again. She was employed at two places to make ends meet.

The unfortunate circumstance of the situation is that unemployment won’t allow you to collect to due medical reasons. Only if you’re laid off and able to work while applying for other jobs. It may be some time before she is able to collect disability since, the Ohio Department of Jobs, has been a nightmare since the coming over covid. This process tends to take anywhere from 1 month to 3 -4 months to be able to receive any type of determination, and then some time to have the money process assuming she was granted unemployment and/or disability funds.
