UPDATE AS OF 10/16/25

Dear friends, family and supporters,

We wanted to take a moment to update you on Michelle, the remarkable woman at the heart of this campaign. She has shown incredible strength and bravery throughout her medical journey, and we have been humbled by the outpouring of love and support the Hartmann family have received from all of you.

After months of ongoing treatment, countless challenges, and unanticipated hospital visits, filled with medical tests and exams, Michelle learned from her medical team that her condition would require a heart transplant. Today, Thursday, October 16th, we learned, is transplant day. This is a critical and hopeful step forward, but it also brings new uncertainties and challenges. Michelle will remain in Cleveland for surgery and her recovery. She will continue to fight with the perseverance and resilience that we all recognize and admire in her. The days will be long and difficult, however your messages of encouragement, your generosity in donating, and the prayers that you will offer for her and her family make an incredible difference in her life. Every contribution eases the burden brought on by out of town medical care, and provides some ease to her family, who are soldiering on the best they can without her daily presence and care. Anyone who has met Michelle, recognizes that she is a person of great empathy and compassion. She brings passion and enthusiasm to all that are blessed and fortunate to encounter her.
