Michelle’s Journey through Cancer

I’m Alexis, Michelle’s oldest daughter it breaks my heart coming to you all today. We are devastated to share the news that my mom has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Over the last couple months we have continued to get bad news in regard to my mothers health, we have also recently found out that the cancer has spread to her adrenal glands above her kidneys and she has some tumors in her brain as well. We are waiting on a PET scan to give us more answers if the cancer has spread anywhere else in her body. My mom is currently not working because of the severity of her condition right now and is having a difficult time with every day activity. For those of you who know my mom you know that she is a very Active and adventurous person and this journey is starting to take a toll on her body mind and spirit. We are asking God for a miracle that only he can do at this point and that the doctors would continue to be guided by him throughout the course of my mom‘s treatment whatever that may look like. First and foremost we are asking for your prayers and thoughts for our entire family Michelle has four children, two under the age of 18. We have a long road ahead of us, we have set up this go fund me if people feel compelled to help contribute to Michelle‘s living expenses such as rent utilities and gas to get to and from appointments as well as any medical bills as she cannot work at this time. We are so grateful for any prayers and donations to help reduce some of the stress in my moms life right now. We will keep updating you all as we are able to.
