My name is Michelle Hardenbrook, I am nearly 75 years of age, I have a 52 year old disabled son that I financially support and care for. You may have seen my interview on Soft White Underbelly from 2024, I was interviewed because I was a 72 year old OnlyFans model in the top 1% of earnings. In the past 27 months since that interview, much has changed in my life. I am on the verge of losing my home and I, my son and our four dogs being homeless. The stress I have been under for the past 20 months has caused my hair to fall out (which is why I wear wigs), my skin to be inflamed, my blood pressure is uncontrolled in spite of taking 3 different medications, insomnia that torments me and I look and feel like I've aged 10 years in the past 2 years.

I made the mistake of contracting with an agency to handle my OnlyFans. The plan was I would make enough money to pay off the balance of my mortgage so my son would never have to worry about where he will live after I die. I actually ended up working with two different agencies but the end result was the same, they took between 70-80% of my earnings while I was doing 90% of the work. When I talked to my agencies about the fact I was not earning nearly as much money, as they promised, I was given lots of excuses but nothing was done to increase my earnings. At one point I was harassed into selling my truck to pay an invoice sent to me by my agency, I did resent that but felt I had to pay it. My income suddenly dropped significantly, not because I was not making content, despite being in pain, the problem was not with me. So I fired my agency.

I had my original OnlyFans page that I had run all by myself for 6 years now and made more money handling it than the money I made with an agency handling my "new" OnlyFans for 3 years. They had me create a new OnlyFans, a clean slate they called it. So now I am managing two OnlyFans accounts. Neither one has very many fans but I need to keep them open because it's the only income besides my $866 a month social security.

A short time after firing my agency my car was not only stolen, it was totaled, all four sides and the top were smashed, all four tires flat. My insurance company totaled it. Since I had a loan on the car the insurance company paid off the loan and I got nothing. I did have another car, a 2005 Toyota that wasn't running. I had the Toyota towed to a local mechanic and he fixed it but advised I need 4 new tires, a front end alignment and new shocks, a $3,500 job. I told him I would get back to him.
During this time I had 7 different procedures on my lower back, due to chronic pain I have lived with for years. None of the procedures worked, I can not stand for more than 15 minutes at a time, without falling over, walking any distance over 50 feet can not be done by me without a cane. So getting a regular job is just not possible.

In the past 2 years, 3 of my dogs died.
Then my son's father died, they had made great strides in healing their relationship but when his father was in the hospital the last time he called my son to tell him he didn't want to live anymore. That's a brutal thing to say to your child, no matter the age. My son told his dad he understood, he loved him and hoped he would hang on. Two hours later he was dead, my son has to live with that, which to me is cruel and unusual punishment.

I have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, edema in my feet, ankles and calves, I have neuropathy in both feet from the tips of my toes to the top of my foot, the burning pain is with me all the time. I have an abdominal aortic aneurysm, diverticulitis and 3 lumps in my right breast that need to be biopsied but because I have a Medicare Advantage Plan offered by the only insurance company in my area and they changed my policy from a PPO to an HMO I have to travel between 60-120 one way for medical treatments now, in a car with four bald tires and no shocks and it needs an alignment, I'm scared to death to drive it and there are no cabs, uber, lyft or even busses between where I live and where I need to go for treatment so my driving is the only option.

In November 2025 I spent time deciding what I really want to do for a living. Escorting and OnlyFans were two stop gap measures, I never intended them to be a career. I never wanted to be an Escort. I never wanted to have an OnlyFans, but I needed income sufficient to meet my son's needs and keep our household running and at my age there are no other options; where else will an elderly woman be able to stay home and care for her son and also earn sufficient income to support us. There is no fancy lifestyle here. I have not had a vacation since 1981, I don't buy lavish clothing, purses, shoes, my 600 sq ft home is furnished simply.
My income has now gotten so low that I can no longer pay my mortgage. If my son was not getting food stamps we would be starving. The mortgage company has given me time to bring my mortgage current. I have until November 2026 to pay $40,000 to make up the missing payments and penalties. I paid $60,000 in down payment and closing costs, $40,000 to move to CA from Louisiana and 3.5 years of mortgage payments of $3,115.00 per month. I have about $220,000 wrapped up in this house and I do not want to lose it. By the same token I no longer wish to be involved in the sex industry. I want to get my life back.
You need to understand my property has two homes on it, I live in the little house, my son lives in the big house, though it's not big by most standards at 1,100 square feet. This gives him autonomy and privacy. Neither one of our houses are fancy, both were built in 1957 and are all original. I have never needed fancy, I'm more of a down to earth, easy to please person. The houses are home to us, mine if very cozy and for some reason I feel safe here.
While I was thinking about what I could do to earn money I kept coming back to writing. So many people over the past 50 years have told me I should write a book but frankly I was scared to death. I didn't know where to start but I decided that I was going to give this a try. In 2026 I have written 14 books, granted, 13 are simple romance novels and I can't say if they are any good because I have not had a whole lot of experience with romance in my personal life. The 14th book is a murder mystery which took me 2 months to write then I edited it 3 times. I am so proud of that book. I discovered that I can write, Once I get started the words just flow out of me and it brings me great joy, I'm happy when I write. Which is very interesting considering where I find myself in my life at this moment. A couple of weeks ago I was so depressed about my inability to provide for my son and retain this property that I had the pills lined up to to end my life. The only reason I did not do it is my son, he is my life. I can not leave him an orphan.
My books are available on Amazon (pen name Laine Winslow) I am hoping to make a career of writing which means I am hoping to earn a living at writing but in order to get there I need some help.

I have to keep my OnlyFans pages up as it does provide me with about $3,000 a month income. I am NOT going to make new content, mentally, I am out of the sex business. I have enough content already made that will last me months if not a year. But my house will be in foreclosure by then if some miracle does not happen. If it is foreclosed my son and I and our four dogs will be homeless. We have no friends in this area, no family willing/able to help. We will be relegated to a tent at a campsite and I just can not imagine that life.
I am asking for donations to help bring my mortgage current and help support me and my son while I continue to write and learn marketing skills to market my books to the public. I am not a spendthrift, I am careful with money, even more so now that there is little of it. No donation is too small because it all adds up. I appreciate any help you are willing to give.

I wanted to address a few points made by viewers of the most recent Soft White Underbelly interview I did. It was mentioned that with my income at $500,000 a year my house should have been bought for cash. What is not being understood is when you have management you have to pay them for the things they do for you. In my particular case management took well over 75% of my income so I was actually taking home about $68,000 a year. Management got the rest, which is why I no longer have management. When I was running my Only Fans account by myself the most I earned in a given year was $155,000, out of that money I paid our living expenses, saved money for a down payment and closing costs on our new home in California, paid $40,000 to actually move to California. With the downturn in the real estate market in my area the current value of my house (based on an appraisal I had done) is less than what I owe, so selling the house is not going to happen. If I can't afford the mortgage payment I also can not afford moving costs or rent. I am up against a wall.
The second thing I want to address is my son. Someone mentioned I should have a picture of him on this fundraiser. My son became disabled at the age of 35 and I believe he has the right to privacy. While I don't mind putting myself out there, he has the right to not want his picture posted here or any other place.
The third thing that was mentioned is why my son does not get disability and one person claimed she has disabled children and gets paid for caring for them. We applied for social security disability but because he did not have enough hours worked over several quarters he is not eligible. So we turned to SSI we filled out the forms, had them returned to give additional information, did that a number of times and ultimately they denied the claim. The only way to get SSI would be to hire an attorney and I don't have money for that, and it is a long drawn out process, my mother went through it for 5 years before she was finally approved by a judge. If he did get disability then I could apply to the state to be paid as his caregiver but all of that is moot at this point, it's something to work on in the future because his disability is not going to go away or self correct.
I want to thank those people who have donated, in spite of possibly not liking what I have been doing to support myself and my son. Your giving has given me some peace of mind. Even though I still can not pay my mortgage, I will have enough money to pay our monthly bills for September. For that I am eternally grateful.
Those who don't wish to donate can always buy my book, The Sanderson Inheritance. My writer's name is Laine Winslow, you can find my book here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HD5QSMR5
