Michelle's Job at Risk After Car Theft

Hi, my name is Michelle. I’m a single mother. I work very hard to keep everything together (bills paid, food on the table, and a roof over our heads). The last two years were the hardest and most trying period for me. Moving from home to home between friends and family without a consistent career had my son and myself living unstable. But I had finally found a more stable job as a mobile phlebotomist and recently got us into a small apartment where we could settle. We’ve been here about six months, and I had to get a new (used) car due to mechanical issues with my old car. I’ve only had it for a month, and on January 20, 2025, it was stolen. And just like that, overnight, someone made my life start to crumble. I use my vehicle to get to numerous facilities for work and drop off specimens to the lab. Without it, I have no income. My job has given me a grace period until tomorrow, Jan 23rd, to find a vehicle and get back to work. If not, I will be laid off and lose my sole source of income. Time is of the essence, and I’m in dire need of another car. If you can just look deep in your heart and donate what you can, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so very much.
