Michel’le’s Functional Neurological Disorder Fund

I officially found out I have a Functional Neurological disorder and I suffer from all of the symptoms except seizures however, I am trying to find out if I suffer from nocturnal seizures that is still unknown. I was in the process of catching up on rent and I have been behind because my old roommates abandoned our lease leaving everything on me. I am unable to move into the new place I found unfortunately being unable to work right now has gotten in the way of those plans. I do not have the finances or support to help me take care of this debt with my current rent while also trying to focus on and improve my health. I am going for disability but it’s a very long process. After I graduated high school in 2016 I tried leaving my ex boyfriend and he wasn’t too happy about it so he decided to drag me outside and body slammed me on my head and back leaving me with permanent damage for the rest of my life. I haven’t been the same since and I’ve been suffering from alot of mixed special sensory symptoms. It did take years to find my diagnosis, at first it started with a single legion on my brain stem, now I have two and suffer from migraines as well, I’ve had issues with nerve damage on the entire left side of my body constantly being mobile and immobilized throughout the years, issues with my nervous system, vision loss, hearing loss, short term & long term memory loss, brain damage & the disc in my spine near my lower back are out of place causing me a lot of pain and I’ve been suffering from sensory and mobility problems as well. It’s going to take me some time to get myself together, get through physical therapy & a lot of doctors appointments. I was also really young when this happened to me and I didn’t know what I was doing exactly, all I had was a DA and I’m going to try to sue the person who did this to me for the pain and suffering I’ve had to endure all these years. I would appreciate any kind of advice, guidance & help so I can try my best to take care of myself, my health yet also survive & seek justice. Symptoms of FND are Weakness or paralysis, Abnormal movement, such as tremors or difficulty walking, Loss of balance, Difficulty swallowing or feeling "a lump in the throat", Seizures or episodes of shaking and apparent loss of consciousness (nonepileptic seizures)
Episodes of unresponsiveness, Numbness or loss of the touch sensation
Speech problems, such as the inability to speak or slurred speech, Vision problems, such as double vision or blindness, Hearing problems or deafness
Cognitive difficulties involving memory and concentration. I’ve been suffering from these symptoms for years and my biggest problem is my speech and communication, they say our brain is like a computer and there is nothing wrong with my hardware it’s my software not running properly, my brain doesn’t send or receive signals the same as others. I feel like I’ve been suffering in my own mind and body for a long time and I just want to seek the help I need to get better and my life back on track.
Thank you to all who can help support me during this time. If anyone would like to know more information you are more than welcomed to contact me.
