Michelle's Fight
Donation protected
On March 2, 2017, my mother, Michelle, was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 50. Our family was shocked and devastated by the news. The past couple of weeks have been difficult emotionally. My mom has always been healthy, and her health problems arose very suddenly.
The good news is that her cancer hasn’t spread to other parts of her body, and that her doctors believe that her cancer is very treatable. She plans to undergo six weeks of radiation and chemotherapy combined. Afterwards, she will have surgery, and then 6 more rounds of chemotherapy, once every 3 weeks.
My mom has been strong through all of this, but between the multiple doctor’s visits, and trying to make financial arrangements, she is exhausted.
Our family is starting this campaign to help cover the costs of her medical treatment and living expenses. My mom will be able to work very little, if at all, during her treatment. Although my mom has health insurance, and we are doing all that we can to help her right now, it is not nearly enough to cover her expenses.
Any love, prayers, encouragement or financial support that you may be able to contribute are greatly appreciated.
