Hi, my name is Chelsea. My mom, Michelle, has been having some recent health scares, which we’ve posted about on Facebook. On Sunday, my sister Alyson took her to the emergency room due to very rapid cognitive decline and memory issues. She was admitted to the hospital Sunday night for dangerously low electrolytes. Though they have assured us it is getting better, it can be a slow process with a lot of unknowns to come as far as getting mom back to normalcy.

Alyson and I both have full-time jobs, myself being self-employed (no PTO), and Alyson likely to run out of PTO before too long. Adding to this, I am moving in the midst of this, have 3 children, and live 2 hours away. Alyson also lives 1 hour from where our mom has been admitted.

We really aren’t the type to ask for handouts, but with the traveling back and forth, time off work, and potential uninsured medical expenses, we may need some extra help. Money is tight these days for everyone, but anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
