Hello friends,

As most of you know, I’m facing my second battle with breast cancer. This is a metastatic recurrence, not a localized one. It has traveled to my lymphatic system, and I am still waiting for a PET scan to see where else the cancer may be.

I’ll be starting chemotherapy soon, followed by 6 weeks of intense radiation. After that, I’ll be on immunotherapy for at least 2 years.

As you can image, this has caused medical bills to pile up, and I will be taking a leave of absence from work during treatment. I will have disability coverage at 60% of my regular pay, but unfortunately, that won’t be enough to keep the rent and bills paid.

My hope is to raise enough money to pay my rent for a couple of months, which will relieve a HUGE amount of stress while I go through treatment.
