Hello Friends and Family,

TaaaaaaDaaaaaaaa! And just like that, another year passed... How time flies when you're having fun is an understatement in my world. We are looking forward to some great spring weather here in the Chicago land area. The Lord is going to bless us with 50 degrees plus weather very soon.  I am feeling blessed with the Lord's goodness today as it is my Birthday Month....

As you may know from all my posts on FB, Instagram, or Youtube, I am an avid Gardener growing food to help families with food insecurities in my community. I am such an avid Gardener that I set up a non for profit called Glory Gardens NFP.  I have founded and managed 4 gardens locally in my neighborhood with many volunteers who help me raise food to donate to the local food pantries. In 2022 we created another garden which brings our total to five gardens. The 5 Gardens total over 28,000 ft² of growing space.  These gardens are home to fresh vegetables grown with organic practices that are donated to over 3 local food pantries.  We also feed 30+ families through my church. I also grow an abundance of food in my home garden to preserve and offset my grocery costs. All the extra produce gets shared with my loving neighbors.

Since this mission began in 2019 I have been maintaining and supporting my gardens without any financial support. I am resourceful and have been able to acquire supplies that were needed for the garden.  I want to thank my neighbors and social media for that. 

This will be my fourth year starting seedlings in my grow room. Since 2019 I will have started over 10,000 plant starts in my home grow room to fill all the gardens. This is, one of my favorite parts of my growing mission. No money is spent in the big box stores for plants. We grow our own with organic practices..

Personally, if you know me at all, I struggle with asking anybody for any help. I never want to be a burden.  So, then you may understand how hard it is for me to ask this Birthday Wish of you.

So, this is how my brain works...... 

It's my Birthday week. My Birthday is March 18th. I'M TURNING 51!!!!!. 

If you were to see me out and about one day and it was my birthday, would treat me to a cup of coffee??? If you saw me in a restaurant would you offer me a glass of wine for my birthday??? If you answered yes, then this next question will be easy.... You don't think that the amount of money for that cup of coffee or a glass of wine is too much money to donate to a good cause do you? If that answer is no, then it should be easy for you to contribute a donation of that amount (Or more ‍♀️) to my non for profit.  

Think about the hundreds of people we provide farm fresh produce to through the local food pantries and my church. None of this could be possible without contributions from you guys.  

Every day is a gift. Everyone is deserving of fresh organic produce, and everyone is deserving of your blessings. You all have the power to help today. GROW FOOD & FEED PEOPLE.
