Michelle's adventure to IMTA 2017!
Hello My name is Michelle Osti I am 24 years old and as many friends and family already know my number one love in the world has always been and always will be dancing. So one day I heard on the radio that one of the biggest talent scouting companies was in my area and they are World Class Modeling Talent Studios. I auditioned because I thought you never know what could come out of this and I was so happy to get the call back that day from Ms. Daisey saying I got in. Afterwards I recieved my first professional training in modeling and I took acting for the very first time. I absoluletely loved it because like dancing acting is another art form and I related to being on stage and simply becoming someone else and while your on stage you forget about literally everything good or bad in life your just living in that moment...in that spotlight so bright it blinds you from seeing the audience.
Im going to fast forward for timesake now, being connected to World Class Studios I got the oportunity to audition to IMTA Convention2017. IMTA= Internation Modeling Talent Association and the one thing that I remember right before doing this audition was Agent Laura Gentry saying, "going to IMTA can be lifechanging you can go from sitting in this very chair to working full time on TV". So far I was playing the "I got this card" and felt super confident but after I heard those words I was sweating inside and out!
To the point, YES Im officially a participant of IMTA convention in Los Angeles from January 3 to the 7th! The reason why it is a big deal is because over 250 agents (television producers, casting directors, modeling companies, magazines, etc) are flying in worldwide to see the participants ready to give contracts to the candidates that they liked. SO thats why it CAN be life changing. I will be participating in acting portions, print modeling and dancing of course! Thankfully I have already raised about half of the expenses to get me to IMTA through good conections I've made with people but I need help on the rest because if I dont pay the tuition then I'm most likely kicked out. Going to this convention means so much to me cliche as it is but I can be crazy enough to fufill my dreams and every donation small or large, I apreciate from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your time!
