On May 12th, Paulo Rego unfortunately passed. He leaves behind a loving wife Maria and two daughters, Michelle and Sabrina.  In lieu of flowers, the extended family has created a Go Fund Me account on behalf of Paulo's unexpected passing to help pay for some of his daughters' future school expenses.

We all know that Michelle and Sabrina's father Paulo would be very proud of them and the many milestones they will achieve in the next couple of months and years to come.  We want to help them realize their dreams. We know he’ll be a shining star for them on these special occasions.

Thank you so much for your condolences, prayers, kind words, and for being a part of Paulo's life.  I hope your memories of him and knowing his daughters' commitment to his name will bring you peace and healing.

I'm Nelson DeSousa from Westbury, NY.  Paulo was married to my cousin, Maria.  I created this Go Fund Me page to help raise funds for their daughters, Michelle (my goddaughter) and Sabrina.  The money raised here will be used to assist in paying for the girls' college expenses.  At the end of the fundraiser, I will withdraw the funds and provide Maria with a check that she can deposit in the girl's bank account.
