Hi, All -
I am finally in the home stretch of law school—only three more months until graduation. Right after graduation, I go into bar prep. I am registered to sit for and pass the July bar.
That's where you all come in. I need help. Studying for the bar will entail 40+ weeks of studying. Thus, I will be unable to study, work, and care for two teenage boys. As you all know Marin County is extremely expensive; therefore Izaac's salary is is not always enough to cover our expenses.
Therefore, I was hoping that you all could donate some coins to my bar prep fund to help with exam fees, living, and caregiving expenses while I am studying for the bar.
Here is a breakdown of expenses during the 12-week study period
- Exam fee -- $800, including $150 for me to use my own laptop.
- Moral Character fee -- $580, including fingerprints
- Accommodations for a four-day exam -- $800
- Household Expenses -- $6,000, including rent
- Caregiving Needs -- $4,500
- Mental Well-being -- $1,500
Becoming a licensed attorney; priceless.
