Michelle was raised by her wonderful grandparents in the Philippines before coming to the US.  Recently, her grandparents, Pacio and Aning Bayuga, have both fallen ill. While Aning is still sick at home, Pacio has been hospitalized. He will likely require extensive treatment including surgery and a prolonged hospital stay. The cost of treatment for Pacio and Aning is more than Michelle can shoulder alone. Without our help, they may not be able to get the care that they need. Michelle is in her final semester before transferring to a university to complete her undergraduate degree. She has been working full time as a social worker and attending school at night for years but is willing to give up all this work in order to help her grandparents.
