Michelle Viola Funeral & Memorial

Hi everyone, on Monday May 30th my mother Michelle Viola passed away. She left behind a lifetime of amazing stories and memories. She has had a tough life from the moment she was born but she has never quit. She had fertility issues and took almost 12 years to have me, then miscarriages of her twins, to being in a coma in 2010, to hit by a car in 2016, and recently dealing with her battle with lung cancer. Above all things my mom was a fighter and she fought tooth and nail to push through for me regardless of how tired and in pain she was. She always told stories about how much she loved me and was proud of me and now its my turn to return the favor. She was the most kind, generous, and loving person you could possibly meet. She had a heart big enough to wrap around the moon and come back down. She loved children and taking care of them. Since before I was born she helped take care of children on my block to the kids that grew up in my building to even cousins of mine. Her dream in life was to open a day care and be around children. She volunteered at my elementary school St. Edmunds throughout my whole 11 years there continually coming up to be lunch mom, helping out at Christmas fairs, and anything she could possibly do. She was always trying to be involved in my life and others. If you knew my mom she would always put people before herself. She would make sure everyone else in the room ate before she would. She would give up anything and everything for me and I will never be able to thank her enough that. She opened up her heart and home to anyone that needed it regardless of space or anything. If you needed a roof over your head she would provide it. She did more than anyone can ask of her. She was more than a mother, she was a best friend, a person to lean on, a caregiver, a chef, a sports fan, animal lover, and above all a cher lover. Her passing is a horrible loss and the world has lost a true diamond.

The loss of my mom is something my family and myself were never prepared for. Any contribution you can spare is much appreciate and will be put to her funeral expenses. My family and I appreciate any and all help that anyone can provide. Services for my mom will be posted later this week.
