Michelle to the Phillipines

Michelle's father, Bel, lives in a province in the Philippines a couple of hours outside of Manila. Unfortunately, he has recently suffered a stroke and is recovering in the hospital. As far as we can tell, he is stable and receiving the care he needs, but it is challenging to get all the details secondhand, given the distance and time differences. Please help us send Michelle to go visit him.

Since she had not planned to travel internationally recently, her passport is expired. Given the time-sensitive nature of the situation, we are trying to get her passport renewal approved under emergency exceptions, which comes with a slew of extra costs.

We greatly appreciate any help you all can offer. The purpose of this fundraiser will be to cover the initial travel + passport costs.
