I am starting this fundraiser for one of my closest mates, Jack Simmonds, who is going through one of the hardest experiences I think someone can face, especially at his young age. Jack’s mother, Michelle's tragic passing recently has been a shock to everyone close to her.

Michelle was a warm and caring person who made others feel valued and supported. She was devoted to those around her and the love she showed Jack helped shape him into the genuine and loving person he is today. Her passing has left Jack heartbroken and struggling to find stability during an incredibly difficult period.

Along with the emotional grief, Jack is now facing significant financial pressure as a student. The costs of a funeral, time away from work, and the responsibilities that come with losing a parent have created a heavy burden. Jack a kind selfless person, never asks for help, so I am doing this on his behalf to give him some support while he grieves, as money should be the last thought for someone in this situation.

All funds raised will go directly toward:

• Covering Michelle’s funeral and memorial costs and celebrating her life.

• Supporting Jack’s education, bills and ensuring he stays stable while he takes time to process his loss.
