Our school district and community were shocked and deeply saddened by the recent loss of one of our beloved bus drivers. Michelle Robertson was not only a co-worker, she was a friend to many. Her family will be facing many struggles in the days ahead, and although we cannot ease their pain, we can help lighten their load. Please consider giving to this fundraiser. Thank you in advance for your support and prayers for her family. - Jeanette Thurman.
-Michelle, a Woman Full of Love, Patience, and Compassion
"A beautiful daughter. A devoted wife. A fierce and loving mother. Boyd and Seth were her world. An amazing life cut way too short. A quiet woman dedicated to those she loved, both people and animals. Once you were a friend, she loved you like family and she never let you forget it.
Animals stole her heart and the shenanigans they got into. A patient horse trainer. When a conflict of personalities with horses proved difficult for her best friend, Michelle was there. Her gentle spirit calmed the most difficult of tempers and stubbornness. When a funny meme or video of baby animals came across her screen, she knew exactly who to tag on social media. Sarcasm at her finest.
Michelle loved her job as a bus driver for Hanover School District. The smiling faces first thing in the morning and again before going home was the highlight of her day. She braved the weather and ensured kids were safe wherever they needed to be.
Michelle will be missed by not only her loved ones, but by the lives she touched. To honor Michelle, we are raising money to help support her family after their sudden and tragic loss. Our hope is to relieve the stressful financial burden the family faces.
Anything you can contribute will be a blessing and we cannot thank you enough for sharing your generosity during this difficult time." - written by a friend of the family
