Michelle needs us one last time.

My name is Marjorie and I was lucky to know Michelle for many years. As many of you know Michelle recently lost her courageous battle with cancer. Though we all prayed for a different outcome, we know Michelle is at peace, no longer in pain and with her savior Jesus Christ. Michelle was the light of so many lives, and was truly there for any one who needed it, now her family needs us.

The last year there has been a tremendous outpouring of love, donations, visits, flowers, food and we hate to ask for more but her family is left in tatters after losing this battle. Justin, her loving care giver and husband, is the sole provider now for their family and though he is strong and capable I feel he shouldn’t carry this burden on his own. Michelle lifted up so many of us in life, we can return one last favor to her.

I am raising money to give Justin and the kids cushion to figure out what life looks like moving forward. Losing the person you planned your future with, is one of the hardest life transitions there are. It’s going to take months to sort through the grief, the loss, the changes and monetary donations can help him do this without having to worry about the day to day challenges of paying bills and putting food on the table.

Any donation is greatly appreciated and all funds will be directly given to Justin. We truly appreciate all the support, letters, posts, balloons and thoughtful prayers. We never imagined this is where we would be today but life has a path that is often unpredictable. Donations would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
