My name is Michelle and I have been out of work for almost 4 months. Due to some shady and questionable employer practices, I resigned from my last position. From day one I have been non-stop applying to jobs, participating in interviews. I have applied to over 200 jobs, participated in over 100 interviews and nothing. I have had nothing but praise over my resume and I don’t understand what is happening. Either you need help or you don’t. Why are we wasting peoples time and money making them jump through hoops for no reason?

I have been having to have friends and family help me through this time due to I have been out of money for 2 months already. I have tried to sell my art and other odds and ends to no avail. I have a vehicle that has a payment, insurance for that vehicle, multiple other bills that need to be paid. I have no disability, I am not a tax deduction/write-off for anyone, and openly available.

How do I make it through this with my head held high?
