Those who knew Michelle Montaleone know that she was one of a kind. She had such an amazing happy spirit and a smile to go with it. Her laugh would make your day and we sure loved to laugh! Michelle was the kindest, most generous, and selfless person I ever knew. She was always so considerate and would go the extra mile to be kind to others. Every day, she amazed me with her strength and how she ran our entire family, worked full time and would never complain. She would do it with that great smile and we always knew she did it out of love. Love that was an incredible love! I'll be forever grateful for Miichelle and her loving heart and what she has taught me over the years that has made me a better man. She was my pillar of strength and support through everything. She was always the one who had all the answers and made any problem seem small in the scheme of things and who could turn the worst day into the funnest day. She became an amazing mother to our son Tony, always patient, always listening, always watching, never skipping a beat. Family was everything and she always made sure she maintained a strong, close relationship with her parents, whom she loved very much.
Michelle was very close to God and she was very well prepared for her departure from this world. Her faith in God prepared her for her horrible battle with covid and gave her strength, bravery, and peace until the Lord decided to bring her home. Michelle's last words to me was that she was not afraid and there was nothing to worry about. A huge testimony of what an incredible woman of God she was. She's in God's loving arms now, and I'll tell you, heaven is so lucky to have her. I will miss her forever.
I'm having this fundraiser because of the unexpected timing of Michelle's passing and due to the fact that Michelle and I were a two-income family. Adjustments in me and Tony's life are definitely going to have to take place. In the meantime, medical bills and expenses are piling up. I hate asking for charity and hope that you please only give from your heart, but we could use some relief. Proceeds from this fundraiser will only be used to pay bills, buy groceries and other expenses. Once we are able, whatever is remaining will be donated to charity in Michelle's name as Michelle would want it to be. I hope that this can not only be a blessing to us, but a tribute to Michelle's memory and her giving spirit and also a blessing to others.
Thank you
Dean
