Usually at this time of year Envy Beauty raise money for a charity and its usually breast cancer....
This year we have something closer to our hearts we sadly found out our lovely client, Michelle Mcknight is terminally ill. After fighting kidney cancer in 2019 this nasty deadly illness has returned but this this time in her rib and lungs which is inoperable.
Michelle's story is such a sad story. I asked Michelle what she had on her bucket list before its too late.... Her answer was "to go and spend some time with my grandson in Scotland who i haven't seen for 4 years and to possibly stay overnight at Ladore falls next year when my son gets married....
To some this is normal weekend trip to others this is a bucket list .
After loosing her partner chris in 2017 to the same cancer, as well as fighting kidney cancer herself in 2019 and then being told it has returned and left her with a limited life expectancy in 2020, it has been a rollercoaster for her and her family.
I as well as many others will agree, Shell is a lovely, caring and kind person who has worked all her life and deserves to do at least one bucketlist trip. Just a £1 or £2 pound donation could help us massively.
Shell, has been a prominent figure in the millom comprehensive school for the last 21 years.
When she informed me of this devastating news. We discussed how so many of us would love to help raise funds so Michelle can do the 2 things she would love to do before it's too late.... I just want to make sure Shells wishes to be cared for by her family and children for as long as is possible come true and possibly do one of the two from her bucket list....
This would make her extremely happy. For someone who has been an amazing lovely thoughtful hard working person. Im sure our community and shells friends would be more than grateful to help her.
