Help Michelle Lombardo Heal From Bike Accident

Hi everyone! We are starting this fundraiser to help Michelle live while she recovers from a horrific bicycle accident she had on Sunday 12/29/24.

As most of you know Michelle is an avid bicyclist, and a member of Van de Bluff Bike Club (VDB). Unfortunately she had a major accident while riding. Even wearing her helmet, her head and face took the brunt of the crash.

Michelle is so lucky to be alive! She sustained many injuries including a brain bleed for which she had to be operated on. Also multiple fractures in her face, a broken hand (another operation yesterday), cracked teeth, and injuries to her lips which required more stitches.

Because of these injuries she will be out of work for a bit (she’s a USPS mail carrier)! She’s dealing with severe head pain, migraines, unsteadiness on her feet, along with the pain from all her other injuries. Michelle is also the main caretaker for her dad who has Alzheimers, where they live in Florida. LUCKILY her sister Diana was able to fly down there to help them but she’ll have to come back to Mass in the near future. Michelle’s spirits are good, she is grateful to be alive and for the help of family and friends!
