Hello. My name is Jake Speroni. Yesterday, our family's worst fears became reality when I discovered my mother, Michelle Battistini, lying dead on her living room floor. My brother Patrick and I were trying to call her all week with no answer. Then, when we called and her phone was off, we knew immediately that there had to be something wrong. I drove to her house, knocked on the door, no answer. I went around the house to her front windows and as I looked through the window, there she lay, lifeless, for days. I pounded on the window, screaming out for her as if I could wake her up, but I knew in my heart that it was too late.

Michelle was only 54 years old. We would have never expected this. She was the most kind, loving spirit despite living in pain each day. She has conquered cancer, pulmonary disorders, and chronic pains throughout her body, but when she saw her grandson (my son) Jayden, all of her pains went away as her spirit lifted and agony left. The only thing getting us through is knowing that she is no longer in pain.

Her wishes were simple, yet more sudden than expected.

I am trying not to burden our family with any financial assistance as we have all had to grieve more than we should have this year alone. If you could find it in your hearts to please help us out with fulfilling her wishes, no amount is too little. Or even just a share, all is very much appreciated.
