In need. Two simple words, short and sweet. These 2 words compassionately describe the theme of David and Michelle Koone’s story.
Michelle Koone has been in the hospital fighting for her life since Aug 6, 2021. We are so thankful for the excellent care Michelle is receiving! But as you know the reality of it all, hospital care comes at a cost. While Michelle is a strong fighter and we fully believe she will come back to us, her family is in need. We’ve set up this Go Fund Me page as a way for David and Michelle’s friends, family, co-workers, community, etc to donate toward the growing medical bills. ALL proceeds from this GFM page will go directly to David and Michelle – you have our promise on that. Every single penny. Michelle is an amazing person. To know her is a true privilege and blessing. She loves the Lord and devotes her entire life to helping others, working so hard in the church, growing His church, and simply ‘walking the walk’. She is truly a selfless person. Michelle is loved by SO many! She and David just have been married 35 years and have raised a beautiful family together - A family who loves her and needs her.
One of Michelle’s favorite songs is “In Need”. The words speak deep meaning in that we are all children of Christ and are in need. We are imperfect. We seek refuge in Him, we constantly find ourselves in desperate need of His grace and mercy, His unconditional love. You know the saying, “They would give you the shirt off their back”? I know it’s cliché, but it is the epitome of Michelle. She has such a servant heart, seeking out those in need and always helping. Won’t you please consider helping her in return?
