Michelle Knepp's Road to Recovery

Dear Family & Friends,
As you all know, it is rare to find someone as generous, joyful and hardworking as Michelle Knepp. She has dedicated the past 11 years of her life, pouring her gifts and heart into the families and students at Moriah Christian Academy, making a difference each day with her bright personality and beautiful smile. On November 4th 2016, Michelle was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pain and complications with her diabetes, blood pressure and heart. A mass was found in her intestinal and bowel area that the surgeon has diagnosed as a carcinoid tumor (neuroendocrine cancerous tumor). She spent a week in the hospital having numerous test and scans while stabilizing her blood sugar and pressures. On Tuesday, November 22, she is scheduled to have an extensive surgery to remove the tumor and any area or organ affected. This will include part of her intestines and possibly portions of her liver, colon, and female organs. Due to a previous change in jobs by her husband Danny, Michelle has no health insurance to cover any costs of her medical expenses. We are asking you to prayerfully consider donating to this fund to help Michelle and her family during this difficult time. Any contributions made will go towards medical bills, monthly prescriptions, and expenses associated with her recovery. Moriah Christian Academy has also started a monetary fund to assist Michelle with her medical financial needs. All donations given through the school are tax deductible with 100% of the proceeds going to Michelle and her family. Donations can be mailed or hand delivered to Moriah Christian Academy at 680 E. 41st, Sand Springs, OK 74063. Please contact Kim Ervin with any questions regarding donations at Moriah. If you are not able to give financially at this time, we ask that you continue to remember Michelle and her family in prayer. We know God is faithful to His word and will complete the work He has begun in her body.
