Friday August 10th my family heard that word that none of us ever want to hear. As my sister sat in the Dr’s office, they revealed to her that she has breast cancer. Over the past several weeks we have prayed as she has went through each step about learning this nasty disease, and what all she has to do to fight it. Today, we know she has invasive ductal carcinoma, or a more common term, Stage 2 Breast Cancer.
On top of this struggle, her insurance is preventive insurance...so, most of this debt has to be paid out of pocket.
Michelle is 43 years old, married to William Tringhese, and lives in Girard Ohio. They have 2 kids, Zaynah, 12 years old, and Zachary, 10 years old. She is a counselor that works with people who don’t have anywhere else to go, whether they have insurance, or not. If they have an issue, they come to her. This is really hard on her, because she is always the helper, the one who talks with people through their problems.
Those of us who know my sister, knows that she is a constant giver. We also know that she is smart, and very strong. She will fight this, and she will win, we are all confident in that. The financial burden of this fight, is just as hard as the disease itself. My family and I wanted to reach out and ask for some help from those that are able to help financially. Prayers are also always appreciated.
