Friends & Family, I so greatly appreciate each and every one of you. Towards the beginning of November I found the strength inside of me to take on struggles in my life, that I didn't know I had. I am currently seperated from my husband, I no longer work for my parents at Niffie Printing & I gave up my shirt printing business. There are so many reasons why, and the details don't matter, except for I was ready to find my happiness & what drives me to be the best version of myself. I had so much drive inside me, and it seemed like when my mind & soul was finally at peace that I got knocked back down, but this time I have to find more strength inside of me to keep standing. I know how strong I am, but I am scared it's not enough?
On Thanksgiving, while packing our house to sell, my favorite statue, fell and landed on my forehead. Matt rushed me to Olathe ER, where a fast growing mass on my brain was discovered after an MRI and CT scan. After a consultation with the Neurosurgeon at KU Med, my surgery was scheduled for December 28th to remove as much of the tumor as possible. They estimate being able to remove 60-70%. After a biopsy of the tumor, they will determine which treatment will be the best to shrink it more. Chemo and radiation, were mentioned.
I am asking for your help during this difficult time. Although I do have health insurance, my portion of the costs for a major surgery like this and the resulting hospital stay will likely be significant. Treatment afterwards, whether it is chemotherapy or radiation, will likely be long and expensive as well. We also have our regular “normal” expenses that unfortunately do not get paused during an event like this.
Any help that you can offer will be very much appreciated. The financial stress of something like this is a major concern and anything that can be done to alleviate that will help out tremendously. Thank you all very much! I love you all! ❤
