Michelle Horn: Guillain-Barre Sydrome

Donation protected
On August 1st, my cousin, Michelle Horn, was admitted to the hospital for unexplained weakness and loss of feeling in her legs.  She has just been diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome.  This is a rare disease where the immune system attacks the nerves, causing severe muscle weakness.  She is currently in the hospital and is expected to be discharged to an inpatient occupational therapy (OT) rehabilitation program for at least 2-3 weeks in order to regain feeling and use of her legs.  After discharge from the inpatient OT rehabilitation program, she will still need in home support services for herself.

Prior to this, she was a stay at home mom caring for her 3 1/2 year old son, Jordan.  Her partner works full time and they really need help paying for childcare so that they don't have loss of income on top of medical bills.  They are going to need childcare assistance while Michelle is in the hospital and they will likely need in home support, in the form of child care for Jordan, after her release from the OT rehab program.  All proceeds will help pay for childcare, any costs from Dad being out of work to care for Jordan, and medical expenses.  Please pray for Michelle, Justin, and Jordan.  Thank you so much for donating.
