Michelle Hope Jenkins - Medical Journey

On Sunday, November 7th, my beautiful sister, Michelle, had a seizure at home. Her amazing husband, Richie, acted quickly and helped her and called an ambulance. She was taken to Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Long story short, an MRI showed some sort of mass in her brain around 6cm in size. It also showed two small spots in her chest that will be dealt with after the brain mass. She did have some subsequent seizures in the hospital and since she was released and sent home.

Richie and Michelle met this week with a neurosurgeon at Duke Hospital where she will have to undergo "awake" brain surgery. As you can imagine, this is a situation in which we are asking you to pray for them to our Lord Jesus. He alone is the constant source of comfort to us.

Thank you so much for your support and prayers at this time. We anticipate this money raised will help them with any medical bills, meals and gas driving one hour each way to Duke Hospital, etc. We will post updates here as well as in the Facebook group.
