Michelle Holden & family (Jason, Bella, Nicholas)

My name is Rene’ Barton; and this page is to help Michelle Holden and her family as she has already been in the hospital more than three weeks and still has a lot more medical bills to come. 

Just a little bit of info to get up to date.  Michelle somehow ended up with a nasty blood infection that attacked her entire body and left her in ICU at Greenville Memorial Hospital until sometime Wednesday afternoon. 

Michelle had been on a ventilator; and she was taken off of it and was breathing on her own earlier this week. But her liver is further scarred and her kidneys are not functioning at full capacity. So now she is on dialysis. And as if all of these situations weren’t enough, somehow the blood infection made into her heart. 

Although doctors have looked at other options, the only way to fix the problem at the heart is to perform open heart surgery. Obviously, this surgery is serious, expensive, and demands significant recovery time. 

Michelle, Jason, Bella, and Nicholas all need our thoughts and prayers, as do the the rest of their family members. It’s been very hard on them and will continue to be taxing on them until everyone is sure Michelle is alright. 

But bills don’t stop coming in and piling up just because we aren’t healthy enough to work or wealthy enough to simply pay them. Michelle has been a great support to lots of us over the years; and I am asking that we spread this page among our friends and families to see if we can help. Please note that the goal may change as the family is going to need a lot more than several thousand dollars to get back to normal daily living.
