In May I’ll be running the Norwich Half Marathon for my friend Vickie, who has had to face the heartbreaking loss of her mum after a devastatingly short and cruel battle with cancer.

There really are no words that can make a loss like this any easier, but I wanted to do something that felt meaningful — something to show Vickie that she and her family are in my thoughts every step of the way.
