Michelle Hamby, single mother of three wonderful boys, Connor 12, twins Garrett and Tyler 7, was struck with a serious illness called Charcot foot in July. Charcot is an illness that affects diabetic persons with severe neuropathy and can result in limb amputation and death. Michelle developed a small blister due to the Charcot, which turned into a wound that got an infection down into the bones of her foot. Unfortunately, this resulted in a below the knee amputation. Being unable to work for many months , I am seeking assistance in paying bills until she gets back on her feet (foot).
