Hello, my name is Monique Grisaffi Romagosa. I too am a graduate of Chapelle High School class of 87’. My baby sister, Michelle Grisaffi Irwin, was also a fellow Chipmunk for short time before entering Seton Academy. She grew up in Old Metairie and Lakeview.
She and her family are in desperate need of some help. She has been fighting several types of cancer over the last few years. While her fight has been mighty through the help of chemotherapy and many specialists, this past summer Michelle was dealt a fatal blow. Her cancer has spread further and there is no more hope of continued treatment. She is at home being tended to by hospice staff as her doctors only give her a few more weeks.

She is very frail and needs assistance with getting out of bed and walking just a few steps. Her husband Chris, of 22 years is frequently by her side while trying to work full time as are their two sons Justin (21) and Josh (19) while going to school.
They are struggling and panicked to pay for her funeral expenses. She just got word a couple of days ago to find out that her Life Insurance has been canceled. They tried to contact her and the family but she had been in the hospital for several weeks. Although it will be a very small service, probably at their home in Covington, they were praying for a few small donations from family and friends for any small amount anyone can afford. It would be greatly appreciated!!
I hate for this family to have this added stress this late in her very young life (she’s 51), this was the only way we thought we could raise the funds needed quickly.
Please help in anyway way you can.
