In memory of Michelle Elizabeth Tary-Clayton

Donation protected
I'm Marie Tary, Michelle's older sister.

Dec 9, I discovered my sister had passed away unexpectedly in her home due to diabetic complications. She had two beautiful children and this was completely unexpected and devistating to the family. Michelle was a single mother, and disabled. She was a type 1 diabetic, who was considered "Fragile". Her struggles with her diabeties were well known, and it seems that she finally lost her battle with them.

My sister was a person who put her all out there for her friends and her family. She had a huge heart, and was giving beyond her means. Her life being cut short so young is a tragedy beyond words for our family.

Many people have asked, how can I help?

Michelle unfortunately had not yet qualified for insurance (she was in the process), and so there is currently no financial coverage for her cremation, celebration of life, last expenses and just general funds to help close the book on her life. Dealing with a death is expensive and being a single mom, on disability, she was not well off financially, and there will be costs we need to cover before the estate is settled. We do not expect there will be much once all the debts are paid, if anything.

We cannot bear the burden of the financial costs to resolve her estate and celebrate her life alone.

You can help.

Any money collected through this go-fundme will directly go to her eldest child, Elizabeth Clayton, her daughter, for the purpose of resolving her estate. Elizabeth has bravely stepped up to handle as much of the work around the estate as she can, and these funds will be going directly to that purpose. If we collect anything beyond, it will go towards the future education of Elizabeth and Echo as Michelle would have wanted.

If you were a part of her life, you knew that she loved her children more than life itself. Please, help them in this time, and donate to assist them in putting their mother to rest, and being able to move on to the bright future she'd always wanted for them.

Thank you in advance for your generosity. No amount is too small. Anything you can give, will help.

Thank you, with all my broken heart.
