Michelle Canning is one of the most generous women in the world. Many of us have been blessed by her giving. Now it's our turn to give to her and her family. Here is why we have started this campaign:
Diagnosis: Michelle was diagnosed with Stage 3 anal cancer. While she has been told it will be a tough journey, her team at KU is optimistic that she will fight this battle and be victorious over the cancer.
Treatment: She will begin 6 weeks chemo and radiation very soon. At the conclusion of the treatment they will reassess to determine if it needs to be extended.
Financial concerns: While the Canning’s have been blessed with financial security in the past, this news causes concern for the future. Michelle will not be able to work during her treatment and, as we all know, the cost of health care is VERY expensive. By helping the Cannings through this GFM page, they will be able to focus on fighting the cancer. Together, our community can help share the financial burden they are facing. Be assured that the money received here goes directly to the Canning’s bank account for their personal use, although 10% goes to this website for administrative fees.
How else can you help? The Cannings are in need of your thoughts and prayers. They are blessed to have so many friends surrounding them with love and giving them HOPE.
