Hi, I am Michelle’s mom and we are hoping to raise money to help during Michelle’s cancer fight.
Michelle will be off work for a minimum of 3 months, likely more, has no insurance due to being in a new position and still on probation and there will be lots of travel to Vancouver from the Okanagan. They will also have to find care for two dogs.
Victor will also be staying in Vancouver for a minimum of two weeks and all follow up appointments will be in Vancouver requiring overnights after surgery.

My world came crashing down on Monday Jan 22 2024.
When I got a call telling me I have a rare cancer by the name of Spindal cell sarcoma cancer
I have had the week to wrap my head around this scary situation and tell the news to my family
I plan to stay positive strong and put myself first at this time.
I plan on getting everything in order now
I plan to have a positive attitude that I shall KICK cancers ass!
I plan to continue on my weight loss journey that much more (specially with surgery coming up )
I have an amazing supportive husband Victor McClelland that is by my side as well as my wonderful family members and all my beautiful friends.
So I know I will get through this.
I am aware of there’s going to be good and bad days a lot more tears that I will shed and screaming to be done due to frustration BUT
I am not posting this for sympathy I am posting this so all our friends and family are aware and can help us by sending prayers and positive vibes.
As much as I wanted to reach out one by one to each of you beautiful people it’s just way to much so I thought this would be easier
So as I know surgery will be in beginning of March and if no chemotherapy is needed afterwards I should be recovered within 6 to 10 weeks.
If chemotherapy is needed then not sure on time frame.
I am going to Vancouver cancer centre for my surgery and need to be there for minimum 2 weeks.
