MICHELE'S FUNDRAISER

We recently learned that Michele Pedersen, mother of Jeff, sister of Melissa and Mark has terminal lung cancer and has been given three months to live.

With expenses from tests, imaging, Xrays, CT scans, seeing pulmonologists, oncologists, this specialist and that specialist the financial obligations do not cease to build. From this time forward if there are to be any further treatments and or procedures It is difficult to determine what costs will continue to accumulate. The one thing we do know and are sure of is that the insurance deductible alone has reached $9,800.

We don’t want Michele or Walt to worry about the financial burden that could determine the path to be taken in keeping her comfortable through these last months she has with us before joining our Lord.

When we realized Michele’s financial situation resulting from the cancer and how little time she has left, it became apparent that major assistance was needed to address this set of circumstances. Assisting with finances is one small way we can give Michele some added peace of mind during her final days with us.

Family and friends know how caring and compassionate Michele has been over her entire life. She has helped and consoled so many people through their own difficult times. We will miss our beloved sister and mother.

Michele has requested that any monies that exceed what is needed for medical bills be donated to Grace Assembly of God Pontaluna Rd. Fruitport, MI; Spectrum Health Hospice 750 Fuller Ave. Grand Rapids, MI 49503; or to The American Legion Honor Guard, Charles Conklin, Post 28, Grand Haven Michigan.
