Memorial for Michele Molinelli-Ruberto
Donation protected
FINAL UPDATE: Hello all! Thank you all so much for your generosity. We will be closing this campaign this Sunday, 11/17.
As a family, we have decided to change our goal back to $1500, and donate this to the Yellowstone Forever Foundation to fund a bear box in the park, in Michele’s name. With the rest that we have raised thanks to you, we wish to donate this to the Henry’s Fork Foundation, which is an organization dedicated to preserving the biodiversity of Henry’s Fork. This is the area where our cabin is located. Michele loved to fish in the Fork, and we believe she would be honored that you all helped in preserving the place she loved so dearly. We all thank you so much for contributing, and caring for the person we loved the most.
We're raising money in memory of Michele Molinelli-Ruberto, a loved mother, wife, and sister. Michele Molinelli-Ruberto passed away on October 20th, 2019 at UCSF after a long battle with lung cancer. Michele was 57. Michele spent many summers at the family cabin in Island Park, Idaho, where she shared her joy of nature and fly-fishing with friends and family. Michele is survived by her husband John Ruberto, daughters Cristan and Kathryn, her sister Nikki, and nieces Liana and Vivi. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Michele’s name to the Yellowstone Forever foundation. The money we raise will be given to the Yellowstone Forever foundation to fund the installation of a Bear Box in the park. Your generous donation will give both visitors of the park and the bears located in the park the protection they deserve. This in turn will help preserve the National Park Michele loved.
