Help Me Send My Mom to Mayo Clinic

Hi everyone. I'm Deanna Lindsey.
My mother, Michele, has degenerative disc disease, as well as lupus and fibromyalgia – or so we’ve been told.
For most of her days, she’s confined to a chair. The many doctors we have taken her to disagree about what exactly is wrong with her. The doctors can not seem to agree on a diagnosis – she needs to see better specialists than are available to us. She gets sores all over her body, severe headaches and has difficulty walking, standing and sometimes waking up in the morning. My dad and I watch her pretty much 24-7.
I’m my mother’s caretaker and it’s killing me to see her suffer without a cure and even without answers. My parents have had to take bankruptcy twice due to medical bills (and now my dad is ill, as well, with heart problems).
All I want to do is get my mom to the best possible doctors and if all they can do is help her with her pain, that's good enough for me (although I would really like to have the best experts to tell her exactly what's wrong). I work as hard as I can to get her proper treatment, but the money my dad and I make isn’t enough.
My mother has been not only the best mother in the world to me, but also to my closest friends. So many of them look up to her and call her “Mom.” She helps everyone she can in any way she can, even as sick as she is.
My family is everything to me and the physical, emotional and financial strain these health issues are causing is nearly impossible for any of us to deal with. Your love and goodwill and support would mean the world to us. It’s unbelievable that we can’t get proper healthcare for my sweet and patient mother.
