MICHELE SPRINGER'S FIGHT
Michele has battled through many struggles quite valiantly. She's fought some of her toughest battles in silence and that is a burden she need not face alone. In 2010, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. She fought hard and won. In January, 2011, the surgeons removed a tumor from her right kidney. The tumor was benign, but she lost the use of that kidney. We received news last week that Michele was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. While this news initially knocked the wind out of our sails, we are determined to face this and fight this together. Although the future remains uncertain, Michele requires long term care which has proven to be a financial hardship to her. As a single mother of two beautiful children, she puts on a brave face every day, uncertain of what news the day may bring. The medical bills are mounting and Michele is now on unpaid leave. We humbly ask you to consider a donation to support Michele and her children through this journey. Your donations will defray the costs of medical bills and unpaid leave until Michele's condition improves and she can be home again with her children and family. We thank everyone for their generosity and support. Words cannot express how much your thoughts and prayers mean to us.
